1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this site or placing an order through it, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or submit an order. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Products and descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, technical specifications, draw weights, lengths and prices are accurate at the time of publication. Bows and arrows are handmade items, and small natural variations in grain, colour and finish are inherent to the materials and are not defects.
Draw weights are measured at the AMO standard draw length and are subject to a normal manufacturing tolerance of approximately ±2 lb. Arrows are cut to the draw length you specify; please measure carefully, as cut-to-length items are made to order.
We reserve the right to discontinue, substitute or re-specify any product at any time without notice. If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable after payment, we will contact you to agree a replacement or a full refund.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT where required by law. Prices are subject to change without notice, but price changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.
Standard shipping is free for orders whose product subtotal reaches €120 or more, before any discount codes or gift vouchers. Payment is taken at the time the order is placed. We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed by third-party providers; we do not store your card details.
4. Order confirmation and cancellation
An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order; it does not constitute acceptance of a contract. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing error, suspected fraud or unavailability, with a full refund.
You may cancel an order at no charge provided you notify us before we begin building, tuning or cutting that order to length. Items already cut to your draw length, custom-spined or tuned to order cannot be cancelled once work has begun, as they have been prepared specifically for you.
5. Shipping and delivery
We build and tune to order and aim to ship within 72 hours on business days. Delivery times depend on destination and carrier; estimated transit times are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather or other events beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title pass to you on hand-over to the carrier. If a parcel is lost in transit, please contact hello@cordavel.com; we will work with the carrier to trace or replace the shipment at our discretion.
We currently ship to all EU member states, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway and Iceland. For other destinations, please contact us directly. Some items may be subject to shipping or import restrictions, and you are responsible for ensuring that archery equipment may lawfully be imported to and used at your delivery address.
6. Returns and refunds
Unused stock items in their original, unopened condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full product refund (excluding outbound shipping). Made-to-order items — arrows cut to length, custom-spined sets, custom strings and tuned bows — cannot be returned unless faulty, as they are produced to your specification.
For safety reasons, bows that have been shot, strings that have been braced and arrows that have been loosed cannot be returned unless faulty. Faulty or damaged items will be replaced or fully refunded, including shipping, on receipt of photographic evidence of the fault or damage.
To start a return, contact hello@cordavel.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Please do not send any item back before receiving a return authorisation from us.
7. Safe use and responsibility
Archery equipment can cause serious injury or death if misused. By purchasing from us you confirm that you are of legal age to buy archery equipment in your jurisdiction and that you will use it responsibly — only at a safe and appropriate range or shooting ground, with a suitable backstop, and in accordance with all applicable laws. You are responsible for inspecting equipment before each use and for the safe stringing, handling and storage of bows and arrows. We accept no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from misuse.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, photographs, descriptions, design, CSS, JavaScript and layout — is the property of [Legal entity — pending] or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish or use this content for commercial purposes without express written permission.
You may share links to this site and reproduce short text excerpts for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, [Legal entity — pending] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, the products sold, or the information provided herein. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product purchase shall not exceed the price paid for that product.
This site is provided "as is". We do not warrant continuous, uninterrupted access and accept no liability for temporary unavailability.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which [Legal entity — pending] is registered. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms will first be subject to good-faith negotiation. Failing resolution, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) to resolve disputes out of court.
